By Niamh Ollerton
Updated UpdatedThere are a number of reasons to choose to study for your MBA at ESMT Berlin. Whether you'd like to study in a European business school, are looking for more intimate cohorts, or would like to move out of your comfort zone, ESMT Berlin could be the place for you.
Dedicated career services
Marcel Kalis, head of career services at ESMT Berlin says the team works very closely with MBA students and the class sizes allow this.
All MBA students are offered a certified career coach, and throughout the year students ca meet them on a regular basis to work on career development plans and more.
A lot of attention is placed on networking, which is important due to the strong network-based ethos in Berlin and Germany.
For those whose career objectives aren’t so clear cut, the career services encourage students to get in touch with alumni working in the same career track.
There are also opportunities for visits to companies including Amazon, Zalando, HERE Technologies, Facebook and more.
What the students say
Joshua K Pritchett, MBA student, Class of 2020 chose ESMT Berlin for its focus on innovation and globalization.
ESMT stuck with him during a backpacking trip years ago because of its smaller class sizes with diverse people – with 25 different nationalities represents within his class of 50.
Joshua has learned a lot from peers, both professionally and culturally, and he thinks ESMT’s program broadens horizons and helps set you up for global success.
